CST Alliance's CP Certification Program

About Our Program

The certification program here at the CST Alliance is an opportunity for both the candidate and the examiner to honor the hard work and dedication of the candidate in fulfilling the aspirations of their avocation in CST. It is a learning and sharing process in which we assess whether the candidate is skillfully able to discuss CST, teach basic concepts to their clients and the public, and hold space for healing to occur both physically and somato-emotionally within a session and within their community.

Our Goal: Competency and Quality

We want to ensure that each candidate is able to represent our teaching and be able to move the work of CST forward. With each candidate we will honor and respect what you have learned and celebrate the distance you have come on your CST journey.

Certified Practitioners

Requirements

Only those who currently hold a hands on license to treat people are eligible for the CSTA-CP examination and certification process. Seven courses are required: CST Basic Elements 1 through the Craniosacral Therapy Around Death and Dying "CADD" class and CST and Lymphatic Integration "CLI" class or equivalents. See below for information on each class. After completion of the courses, candidates must write a letter detailing why they want to become a certified CST practitioner with the CST Alliance. They will then receive their essay exam and case study format instructions. There is a $75 fee to begin the certification process which is non-refundable for the certification packet and essay questions. Candidates are then required to enroll in our two-day Certification class ($298) where they gather with other candidates for the final examination process. Candidates will present topics on CST and will treat each other as well as the examiner under supervision. There will also be a 50 question multiple choice test. Total cost for the program is $373. Click the links below for descriptions of the seven required classes:

What It Means to Be a CSTA-CP Certified Practitioner

The successful candidate will be designated as CSTA-CP (Certified Practitioner), a distinction that allows them to advertise this achievement on their business card, enables them to enjoy discounts at CST Alliance functions, and acknowledges them as being one of the most complete practitioners in the work of Craniosacral Therapy in the world. Each certified practitioner will know they are among the finest, with certification from one of the highest standard credentialing processes available. For more information or to register for the program, please phone the CST Alliance at 603-948-2820.

Feedback from a CP Certified Practitioner:

"It's Official! I am a Craniosacral Therapy Alliance Certified Practitioner!!

...I was introduced to PT and CST with Don Ash over 20 years ago when I was 12 and in 6th grade after a basketball injury. He helped me regain my health and return to school and sports. By 7th and 8th grade I knew I wanted to be a PT. This CST certification means even more to me than passing the national board exam to get my PT license. I am so thankful for where CST has taken me and so excited for where I can go from here!! Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported me along the way!!"
