We will explore the power of THE MOST neutral stance as therapist/facilitator, that of Witness.

This three-day class is designed to open the therapist to the natural elements of life--breath, water and awareness--in order to cultivate a deeper appreciation for the craniosacral rhythms, our breath, and inner stillness.

Topics discussed and explored will include:
- Water, the body and intention
- Reflections of craniosacral rhythms with organs of the brain
- CST and fulcrums
- Grasping and fear
- Ego awareness
- Chi Kung and CST
- Breath and CST
- Techniques to invoke imagery and dialogue
- Witness as a CST approach
- New, unique exercises: Being a Mirror; A Walk Back Home; Water Awareness in the Ocean (don't forget to pack your bathing suit!)

Participate in this class and discover the importance of being present, still, neutral and energetically engaged in order to encourage the body to heal itself--essentially and ultimately learning "How to Be a Witness."

3 Day Class
(One day to travel by boat to the island and settle in, the three day class and then one day to process and travel back to mainland--altogether a 5 day CST experience.)

Star Island, the location for our Witness Class, August 4-6, 2013. As you approach the island, the majestic, old hotel reveals itself. --Don Ash
Here is a view of the hotel and open lawn area for games. From this angle you can appreciate the enormous size of the beautiful front porch.
Entering the hotel you feel as if you're stepping back into the 19th century--the wonderful bygone days when the pace of life was much slower. The sitting area reminds us of a time when people sat and spoke to each other without the distraction of television.
There are rocking chairs on the porch to take in the fabulous ocean views the hotel has to offer.
The beautiful view from the hotel porch of Gosport Harbor and the "Thomas Laighton" ferry.
View of the hotel and monument from the island trails.
Here is the antique gate that leads to the monument dedicated to the early English explorer Captain John Smith. In approximately 1614 Capt. Smith was one of the first to discover the Isles of Shoals and was the first to place them on maritime charts.
Jill hikes one of the many beautiful island trails. Bring your hiking shoes!
There are plenty of adventurous things for kids to do on the island like climbing on the resident "sea monster" shown here, flying kites, hiking the trails or visiting the island's aquarium. Visit www.starisland.org to learn more about Star Island's activities.
History buffs will also enjoy what the island has to offer. People have been visiting this island since the early 1600s and there is evidence that fishermen were cod fishing near the island much earlier than that, possibly as early as 1578. Here Jill visits one of the cemeteries on the island.
